Training background

Received her M.D. degree from Peking Union Medical College Hospital, Chinese Academy of Medical Sciences in 1996. Over the past two decades at Peking Union Medical College Hospital, she has served successively as attending physician and associate professor in the Department of Nephrology, and currently serves as Director of the Department of Internal Medicine. Dr. Li Xuemei is deeply committed to and passionate about clinical practice. She diligently pursues scholarly research, emphasizes integrating theory with practice, and has established a solid foundation in internal medicine while accumulating extensive clinical experience. She is proficient in the diagnosis and treatment of primary and secondary glomerular diseases, renal vascular diseases, and acute and chronic renal failure, and is skilled in various blood purification techniques. She has proven, effective diagnostic and therapeutic approaches for complex and critical cases.
